Can we expect a wave of Catholic vegetarianism?

There’s been a row over a friggin’ cracker lately, ultimately resulting in actual death threads.

Where’s the connection to the title, you ask? Well…

Everyone who’s ever eaten beef has done something sacrilegious to Hindus, for whom cows are sacred animals not to be killed or eaten.

Alas, I guess this doesn’t count, since Hindus do not believe in a mystical old man sitting on a cloud, making them no “true” believers…

Everyone has a right to form their own beliefs. The actual beliefs get no protection whatsoever from critical consideration and comparison to evidence.
